By the way, just to make my position clear, I am not against immigration, or against Eastern Europeans.
Like most, if people come here and work hard, do not commit crime and do not cause trouble then I am happy with that. It doesn't bother me whether you are a white Slovakian or a Pakistani - the same principles apply.
What I have a problem with is the numbers. I think the sheer mass of migrants is too much. I don't think we have the infrastructure to cope, the public services are at breaking point, unemployment is still a huge issue and I don't think its good for societal cohesion.
I believe in a continuous stream of inward and outgoing migration, but it needs to be controlled. It needs to be controlled and assessed as to whether we can cope.

Does that make up for the working tax credits, costs of educating children, and extra demands on public services?
It amounts to state subsidies for business.

Corporation tax on the increased profits that result from the increased supply of labour that is generally cheaper and more productive is paid in this country. As is the cis or ni contributions on their employment and vat on any purchases they make.

Judging by your name, im not sure if your post was a deliberate wind up based on some caricature your have created for yourself or if you were genuinely being serious.
Firstly, statistics will show you the greatest number of migrants to this country in recent years are from Poland.
Secondly the 'very few claim benefits' isn't quite true of Romanian gypsies or Polish women who claim on behalf their children living in Warsaw not Walsall.
You mention grooming gangs and jihadi's. From what we see in the media, these aren't people who have just 'come off the boat' and are in fact 2nd, 3rd or 4th generation Britons.
You then talk about segregation and I think it was Nurse who points out that eastern European shops and areas are popping up all the time.
The chances are if you are having problems getting an appointment at the doctors or struggling to get your child into a school, nowadays it because of Jamaicans or Indians, it is most likely to be Eastern Europeans.

Maybe so but the majority of Poles over here now aren't bringing a lot to the table.
Unless you count driving about in old BMWs whilst dressed head to toe in cheap SportsDirect Lonsdale clobber and swigging from cans of Lech and Tyski lager from blue carrier bags as cultural enrichment.

The Female hairdressers that I knew were single parents.
Btw Hani is correct the largest Polish community in London is in Ealing, been there since the 60s, some maybe earlier after WWII.

There's plenty from the EU that come over claim child and other benefits and their family returns home to live cheaper while the breadwinner earns a much higher salary from the UK.
Most all the breadwinners money EARNED in the UK economy is sent home along with much higher benefits than could be received from their home country and all SPENT outside the UK.
I've known a fair few Male labourers and Female hairdressers as an example that do this and have told me that their children are coming back over for NHS dental care and parents for NHS Hospital treatment.
They are not doing anything illegal, we allow it.

It was the 60's when "the gates opened". Polish people are not a bad lot but they do keep to themselves and have done very well out of the lazy brit stereotype that's pushed by the Tories. Are they going home?! They are having kids here and their kids go to the schools in large numbers. I don't think they are going home as most have it better in the UK. Romanians have quickly taken over areas in the north but the same could be said for the South Asians before them. Even if we do leave the EU people are no going to be sent home their kids have passports and were born here. Immigration has tightened on people out of the EU but that for people who want to play by the rules. Most can come here on a student visa and stay here for life as it's easy with fake documents and the current BA rules.

I don't think eastern europe is the problem.
Most come to work and learn english. Very few claim benefits. And very large numbers of them return home after a few years.
There is a much bigger problem with migration from outside the EU. The gangs of paedophiles grooming, raping and torturing English girls are not from eastern Europe, nor are the jihadis going off to fight for Isil and planning to take the war against the infidel to Britain when they return.
Last time I checked Poles and Czechs have not set up special segregated schools where they can teach their kids that Allah requires them to convert the English people to Islam or kill them if they refuse.
The scale of the problems we are now facing as a result of Blair's 'open door' policy towards certain parts of the world is absolutely frightening.
